My approach has always had the dog at the very centre - there's no need for bullying, harsh correctives or punitive methods. I've always focused on listening to the dog, taking time to appreciate what they're feeling & their emotional response. With time, empathy & respect, I've helped modify behaviour in an environment full of kindness, care & positivity with a fair amount of happy wags and smiles...that's My Way.
